My Life and the Tarot
My objective, quite simply, is to provide you with insightful, straightforward and practical Tarot readings that will help you to maximise your opportunities in life.
I have used the Tarot for longer than I would care to remember. Even though it was over 40 years ago, I can still vividly remember strolling into a bargain bookshop one lunch hour. I hadn’t gone into the shop with the intention of buying anything, I just wanted to idle away the remaining minutes of my lunch break before I had to return to my rather routine desk job.
Then my eye caught a book, The Rational Tarot by, I believe, Bernard Spencer Le Gette. And that’s when it all started. After dipping into the book I started to do some Tarot readings, including a few for others. I still remember some of the reactions to those early readings, including remarks such as ‘How could you possibly know that?’
The Tarot – a Trusted Friend and Mentor
In the following years, I always returned to the Tarot, but as I grew older and life became more complex and challenging, I found myself frequently engaging with the Tarot, especially in times of change, challenge and crisis. The results of these Tarot readings have always been the same. Helpful and informed. It’s very much like having a trusted wise mentor that is always there to give you insightful advice.
That really sums up my approach to the Tarot. It’s always there, ready to help you to make the most of the life that you have been blessed with. All the Tarot readings that I perform are based on this underlying principle.
In addition to years of Tarot study and practice, I have also been taught by Maxine DuBois and mentored by Suzanne Corbie. I am very grateful to both Maxine and Suzanne for their support and encouragement which has taken my reading capabilities to totally new levels.
Tarot Readings and the Business World
Much of my working life, outside of the Tarot, has been in the business sector. My work has involved helping businesses craft new strategies and advising companies as they faced major change. Much of this work was based upon my practical experience as a business leader and years of research, specialising in stimulating innovation in turbulent and unpredictable times. I am also an experienced mentor. All this has given me a thorough understanding of the challenges of working life in the business arena and I really enjoy developing readings for those working in the commercial world dealing with challenges and opportunities as their careers progress.
